Merry Christmas from the Burns Family
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Dayle and I are enjoying our time at home in South Georgia and are looking forward to having a peaceful and relaxing holiday season. For the last few days, our home has been filled with family and loved ones as we’ve gathered to celebrate the Christmas holiday and continue the traditions we’ve enjoyed for so many years.
From attending our Church’s Christmas Eve service, baking cookies with our grandchildren, decorating ornaments, reading the Christmas story, and reminiscing on memories of our family members who are no longer with us—we cherish every moment we get to spend at home with those we love.
We are also keeping in our thoughts and prayers all of our fellow Georgians across the state whose holiday season looks a little different this year. Hurricane Helene left behind generational damage to countless homes, businesses, and farms throughout Southeast Georgia, and Dayle and I continue to pray for the Lord’s peace to comfort those who have been impacted.
Busy times under the Gold Dome are quickly approaching, but for now we are grateful for the time we have to reflect on the birth of Christ and the true meaning of Christmas. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Our best,
The Burns Family
